Beautiful Kayleigh passed away last night after a courageous battle for life. Please say a prayer for Kayleigh's family tonight, that they may find peace.

Oh how sweet!!!!

So while the kids and me went for a LOOOONNNNGGG walk yesterday, since the weather was beautiful. Talin was lagging behind. He is usually ahead of me so yesterday was a bit different. When I finally sternly told him to catch up since I didn't like him behind me, once he reached me he said "Mom, you know why I was so far behind"? I asked him why. He then told me that he was behind because everytime he sees a flower (dandelions) he thinks of me. Is that the sweetest thing ever????? My little boy has the most tender heart. Needless to say I came home with handfuls and handfuls of dandelions.

Then last night before the kids were going to bed, Ella told Talin and me that she needed to go check on the flowers to make sure they were doing okay. She came up and told me they were just fine.

I am so grateful!!!

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for my beautiful family. I have met quite a few friends through the blogging world that have very sick children. I don't know how many of them make it through the day, but they have such incredible strength. I have such admiration for them all. So I am taking this moment to say "thank you" to my Heavenly Father for the two healthy beautiful kids I have been given. I think alot of us take for granted that we get to wake up each day to happy, smiling children. Others are not so lucky.

My wishes and prayers are with "Gracie Girl" family at this time of sadness.

Gracie Jean Gledhill, age 11 months, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 due to complications from a congenital heart defect.

I hope we can all learn to appreciate what we have been given, for it can be taken away in just a moment.

I am so ready for Spring!!!!

Is anyone else ready for Spring? This cold weather is driving me nuts. There has been alot of sickness going around my house, and I am blaming the weather. Ella and me were up all night, and I mean all night on Friday night. She screamed the whole night. Come to find out on Saturday she has double ear infections. I think I should have been a little more sympathetic. :) Poor kid. So it looks like we are going to have 6 more weeks of Winter......I guess the ground hog saw his shadow. Dumb ground hog. :( Thanks for listening to me vent.

Christmas!!!

So I am not too far behind in blogging about christmas. It's not even the new year yet. So here are a few pics of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Christmas Eve my parents have a party for all of us. We all look forward to it since the food is so good and we get to spend time together. Christmas morning was a blast, the kids had so much fun this year. It is alot of fun now that they are older. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Oh my!!!!! Ella is so much different than Talin was when he was 2. She has a mind of her own and wants to do what she WANTS to do when she wants to do it. Her newest thing to say is "Me do whatever me want to". UUUGGGGHHHH!!!! She can be such a sweet girl and very loving but she certainly has her own agenda. You always worry that your kid is going to be the kid that everyone talks about, because they are so bratty. I am hoping this too will pass. I guess we will see.
